Position Location & Compensation

CareScout is a fully remote organization. This position is available to remote applicants residing in the United States and will require periodic travel to New York, NY, Boston, MA and/or Richmond, VA.

This position is available to remote applicants residing in the United States. The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $190,000 up to the maximum of $290,000. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in annual incentive and long-term equity incentive plans. The annual incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 25% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.

Your Role
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer for Genworth with a strong reporting relationship to the CareScout CEO and Business CEO’s, the Sr. Director, People Partner will serve as the primary People leader for the CareScout business to develop and drive all components of its People strategy. You will help develop and execute core strategies focused on employment brand, talent acquisition, talent management and development, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, day-to-day people operations, and change management. Additionally, you will support core CareScout People initiatives and programs, finding opportunities for their effectiveness. This role with be part of a team that creates and drives cultural spirit starting from the onboarding process through the employment life cycle.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and drive a deep understanding and passion for CareScout’s mission, business objectives and key priorities
  • As a member of the CareScout leadership team, partner with key leaders to identify organizational needs required to drive business results
  • Collaborate across multiple business levels and Human Resources support functions – of both CareScout and Genworth – to attract, retain, develop and motivate CareScout team members to achieve their fullest potential
  • Effectively execute People programs and initiatives and ensure they achieve intended outcomes including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, executive coaching, and succession planning
  • Continually pursue team, function and organization improvements by developing innovative People strategies and driving execution and change management
  • Develop practical solutions to drive high performance, retention, and top employee experience
  • Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to business leaders; coach and guide leaders on effectively managing their teams and leading the organization

What you bring

  • 10+ years of experience as a Human Resources business partner in entrepreneurial / start- up environments – preferably in FinTech, Health Tech or Healthcare
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Business or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading a Human Resource function in a regional or divisional capacity
  • Experience in organizational transformation, preferably in the start-up lifecycle from inception to scale
  • Demonstrated experience in building trusted relationships not only with senior leaders, but also all associates
  • Effective coaching and advising leaders and associates on organizational issues and challenges and willingness to play a hands-on role in problem solving
  • Knowledge and experience in related core functions including strategic and workforce planning, organizational design, talent acquisition, talent management and development, engagement and retention, compensation and employee relations
  • Creativity as a solutions-oriented change agent who has a proven track record of partnering with business leaders to drive results
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth environment where you can simultaneously build and execute scalable People initiatives and programs
  • Exemplary written and oral communication and influencing skills
  • Experience leveraging data insights and analytics to drive culture and talent initiatives
