We are currently seeking a Senior Residential Drafter to join our team.

We are seeking a Senior Residential Drafter to draft & design residential plans for a wide variety of clientele. This is a role that has time & quality demands.

What You Will Do:

• You will be an expert in Revit Architectural software (or similar softwares), which you will use to draft plans related to new construction, remodeling, additions & outbuildings.
• You are accurate. You set the standard and work directly with clients without review. You provide leadership for Drafters, and do review of work before it goes to clients.
• You are the point of contact for clients for home design sessions to determine what customizations or specification will/will not meet local code requirements. You will proactively solution & provide alternatives for a win-win solution.
• You will have variety in your role by focusing on several different projects throughout the day. Not necessarily at the same time, but be able to switch back and forth. You must be organized-as you need to determine prioritization of projects and the potential business impact.
• You are a SME! You will stay up to date with various regional building code requirements. You are responsible for sharing & training Drafters on these changes in real time.

What You Need to Succeed:

• You are an expert in Drafting; including understanding local codes & variances. You have the ability & know-how to find information of changes & new municipality information.
• You understand Architectural Vernacular. You know the difference between craftsman and colonial, and you can articulate this. You understand the characteristics and nuances that define each. You understand the history of different styles.
• You are comfortable representing Paradigm with clients and have experience as a POC in a client facing role.
• You have experience as the escalation point for clients and are proficient at finding resolutions independently.
• You need critical thinking, including creative development skills, requirements analysis capabilities, and proven problem-solving skills.
• You need to be dependable, organized and enjoy working in a changing/fast paced environment. We are Agile!
