Carbon is seeking a Senior Employee Experience Manager

About the role:
Reporting into our Director of People Business Partners, the Senior Employee Experience Manager will be responsible for creating and driving Carbon community-focused initiatives that keep our employees engaged with each other through virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute quarterly company-wide events for global onsite, hybrid, and remote employees.
  • Engage our Carbon Community by creating opportunities for regular interaction and employee participation in communication channels.
  • Support Carbon’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) in their efforts and initiatives that allow employees to learn, grow, and drive our inclusive culture.
  • Evolve and enhance our social impact program, Carbon Cares, by identifying ways employees can give back to the community and by establishing relationships with organizations to facilitate volunteer events.
  • Manage vendor relationships for internal swag and company events, as well as coordinate efforts with internal teams (e.g. Facilities).
  • Evaluate results against our goals, deliver executive summaries, and drive improvements related to comms, swag and engagement.
  • Partner with other People Team stakeholders to provide resources and materials that support their programs to ensure People Team initiatives are aligned.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a related role. Added bonus if you have experience partnering with Employee Resource Groups to drive our inclusive culture.
  • Proven track record of successful employee program design to drive employee connectivity and engagement with a strong acumen for data and analytics demonstrate positive ROI on our programs.
  • Experience with design, program, and engagement branding with proficient skills in using design tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience leading end-to-end program management and large-scale efforts across multiple functions, departments, and offices.
  • Ability and excitement to work through unique challenges related to startup mentalities - often iterating, sometimes pivoting, but always executing.
  • You can scope a project despite ambiguity and recommend employee experience strategies that fit our culture.
  • A strong team player with a willingness to jump in where needed - you’ll roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty on a number of different collaborative projects.
