The Role Summary
As our Sr. ERP Systems Analyst, you will support the global technical implementation of Oracle ERP Cloud across multiple Fellowes sites in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Europe, Australia and Asia. You will work closely with the core implementation team and other partners (internal and external) to help deliver a high-quality solution that is on time and within budget. Your initial focus will be support and enhancements within our Holland, MI facility, which represents the first rollout of Oracle ERP within the organization.
In This Role, You Will…
- Consult with business units to identify and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, data scope, usage, formatting and security requirements as it relates to business systems
- Analyze data and logical data models to design improvements needed for better reporting
- Lead the ongoing / continual process improvement initiatives to ensure we are leveraging the technology suite to our advantage
- Support the resolution of issues (either internally or with an outside support organization) reported by the business
- Manage the issue resolution process, including managing all support vendors, including Oracle
- Lead the creation and writing of user documentation, instructions and procedures by working with business subject matter experts (SME)
- Work with business leadership and staff to document business requirements, user stories (scenarios) and test plans
- Write and maintain functional specifications for new or modified business systems by consulting with the system integrators, developers and IT management
- Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures
- Lead in the development and acceptance of testing standards
- Develop, coordinate and implement plans to test business and functional processes for all system developments and conduct quality assurance testing
- Assist business staff in testing the system to assure it meets original business requirements (User Acceptance Testing)
- Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests
- Travel domestically as required, up to 10%
What You Bring to the Team
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a systems analyst, business systems analyst, systems project manager or similar
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with ERP system implementation, to include at least one full-cycle implementation
- Functional business experience in the areas of distribution, manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse management and financial operations
- Experience in implementing and supporting a Tier 1 ERP software, preferably Oracle's ERP Cloud software
- Experience writing system requirements from business requirement specifications
- The ability to initiate, maintain and develop relationships, both internally with global cross-functional teams and externally with our vendors and partners
- Demonstrated success at working across different levels in an organization
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Communications or a related field, or equivalent experience
