Senior FP&A Manager

About the Role

You will…

Act as a strategic finance partner to various business functions such as Sales, Marketing, and G&A
Provide key insights and management reports that improve business performance in areas such as revenue, bookings, ACV, churn, new subscription starts, and cost savings
Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for supported functions with key stakeholders
Investigate and analyze key drivers to variances between actuals and forecasts in order to provide recommendations for improvement
Work closely with accounting on month end accruals for supported functions

You have…

6 - 8 years FP&A/Accounting/Consulting related work experience
High level of proficiency with Excel and presentation tools (i.e. Google Slides, Powerpoint) with sharp attention to detail
Proven ability to create and own complex, data-driven financial modeling and analysis
Hands-on financial experience performing budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
FP&A skills necessary for accurately representing business results in financial statements
Demonstrated problem solver w/ an emphasis on process improvements
Ability to compile data, develop insights, and communicate recommendations to executive-level audiences
Anaplan experience a plus
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Embraces ambiguity, enthusiastic willingness to learn
MBA/CPA preferred

At Carbon, we look at the person holistically and carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The pay range for this position is $122,000 - $182,000. Your actual salary will be based on your experience, work location, certifications and the unique skills you bring to the role. If you are not based in our Redwood City office, the range above will be adjusted for the geographical differential associated with your actual work location.
