Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you duties and responsibilities will include the following:

• Designing and implementing innovative features for CultureAI’s SaaS product and its supporting tools, with assistance from the team of UX designers
• Giving input on DevOps tools and the direction of the overall service architecture
• Shaping the technology, tools, and direction of the business.
• Finding, troubleshooting, communicating, and overcoming a whole range of technical issues
  

Skills and Qualities

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years commercial development experience and possess a broad range of technical skills from backend development through to an understanding of key infrastructure, including AWS, Kubernetes and DevOps processes.

• Great independent problem-solving abilities, you should be able to take a problem from first detection to solution implementation without worry
• Understanding of Linux based systems, Kubernetes, Docker or similar
• PHP 7+ in a highly object orientated fashion, with MVC, MVVM or FCP knowledge
• MySQL 5.7, especially with exciting new MySQL 8 features like recursive queries
• Experience working with PHP MVC Frameworks such as Laravel, Lumen, Symfony, or in-house ones you have worked on the fundamentals of
• Experience using a variety of templating engines such as Blade, Mustache, etc.
• Experience developing, working with, and standardising Restful APIs
• Front-end development skills, design skills are not required. Must include modern CSS such as flexbox, media queries, functions, etc. in addition to JavaScript (ECMAScript 6+) and HTML5
• Experience working in or with a cloud-based hosting solution such as AWS, Azure, UKFast
• Thorough understanding of Git, including branching strategies, forced rollbacks
• Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, jQuery, Vue, React, etc.
• Experience with native JavaScript (No framework frontend coding)
• Experience with DevOps processes, CI/CD, Server management, Kubernetes
• Experience with Laravel 8, PHP 8, MySQL 8Experience with AI, big data, machine learning or similar technologies
