About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Sr. Workday Analyst to join our People Operations team and help the ongoing maintenance of our Human Capital Management System - Workday. This role will play a crucial role in designing & configuring new Workday modules such as Advanced Compensation and Benefits. You will partner closely with stakeholders in our People Operations, Recruiting and Payroll departments to define requirements for how we create an ecosystem of integrated products. In addition, this role will support designated HCM areas in Workday, such as Core HR, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, etc.

About the Work

  • Lead the configuration, deployment and change management activities of new modules (such as Advanced Compensation and Benefits), functionality or assigned projects.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert to partner with Total Rewards to implement Advanced Compensation for the upcoming merit cycle
  • Translate business requirements into creative and effective technical/functional designs with scalable systems architecture in mind, then drive the implementation of those solutions from end-to-end.
  • Partner with cross-functional partners such as People Operation, Payroll, and Recruiting to. identify system gaps and deficiencies, and conduct long-term improvement projects to ensure compatibility with the company's evolving business applications landscape and needs.
  • Support upgrades, enhancements, document testing and the roll out of new modules and Workday Feature Releases
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices.
  • Analyze business requirements and provide solutions to complex business problems.

About You

  • Hands-on configuration of Advanced Compensation and Benefits
  • Strong configuration knowledge in other Workday functional areas such as Core HCM, Advanced/Matrix Reporting, Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
  • Understand Workday security, SOX compliance, and controls to effectively manage and maintain security and roles.
  • Understanding of HR data, processes and connection to Payroll, and Benefits carriers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, leadership and third party vendors
  • Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
  • You're capable providing support with high-level strategic plans while ready to execute plans on the ground

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience
  • Strong configuration knowledge of Workday HCM, including Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, and Payroll
  • 4+ years experience with Workday advanced compensation & have led successful implementation; 6+ years experience supporting Workday overall
  • Workday HCM experience or training preferred
  • General knowledge of Payroll functional areas and workflows

At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. For this position, the reasonably expected pay range is between $152,000 and $228,000 per year for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.

You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by your hire date to be eligible to start the role. Proof of vaccination will be required by your start date.
