Job Summary
The Senior Human Resources Generalist supports support a wide range of HR specialties, including employee relations, performance & talent management, learning and development programs as well as program and policy development. The Senior Human Resources Generalist partners with leaders and employees across the organization. In addition, this role will support HR Business Partners and their key projects and focus areas.
Responsibilities
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Ensure compliance with Surescripts’ policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulations.
Serve as the main point-of-contact for HRBP SharePoint updates and maintenance.
Assist in the development and interpretation of personnel policies and procedures.
Provide daily HR operational support to employee inquiries.
Perform scheduled audits of HR files and records to ensure all required documents are collected, completed, and filed appropriately.
Serve as backup and/or provide support to other HRBP team members to ensure continuity of all HR functions.
Support Surescripts diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, including as a SharePoint administrator and creation and execution of project plan and calendar.
Support and mediate employee issues/complaints, including guiding/advising supervisors on discipline; respond to employee relation issues, such as employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints and conduct investigations in concert with VP of Human Resources and other HR and Legal functions.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Talent Management
Develop and execute against overall project plan and calendar to support our performance management process including goal setting, mid-year and year end performance reviews as well as the calibration process.
Use Workday dashboards to keep track of performance management completion data and report to key stakeholders.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze data for trends.
Engagement
Develop and execute against overall engagement project plan and calendar.
Partner with our Engagement Survey vendor to align dates, data, and reports.
Develop all engagement related communications, including presentation templates.
Partner with HRBP Directors to analyze survey data and report on themes and action planning.
Suggest questions for Pulse Survey based on areas of focus and business priorities.
True U / Learning and Development
Utilize Workday LMS to run and analyze reports, maintain instructor materials, quick reference guides, attendance, and evaluations. May build courses as needed.
Facilitate sessions and/or provide notes as needed.
In partnership with HRBP Director, develop and deliver all True U / Learning communications and increase LinkedIn utilization.
In partnership with the HRBP Director, develop, build and maintain the Manager Toolkit.
Act as point of contact for Workday LMS users from other functions
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of related, progressive experience in human resources in a variety of areas (i.e. employee relations, talent & performance management, learning & development)
Successful track record of working with leaders and employees at all levels
Must exhibit sound judgment and handle confidential, sensitive information.
Demonstrated understanding and application of computer technology to efficiently accomplish work, using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Demonstrates practical application and exercise of judgment concerning HR policies, processes, employment law, and government compliance regulations.
Maintains a broad knowledge base of federal regulations and state employment regulations for locations where the company conducts business.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, HRIS, performance management, and offboarding.
Experience using Workday as an HRIS

At Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package (which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is $97,210 - $118,812 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.
