Senior Manager, Credit Enablement

Position Summary

The Global Readiness Team is responsible for ensuring our all key stakeholder teams are ready and able to support new Customers, Partners, and Products. The Readiness team plays a vital role in getting our customers to the market. The key to this role will be providing all the details of what our Customers will be required to support a consumer product in a way that is clear and represents the larger Risk and Compliance team. You'll also be collaborating closely with the Marqeta extended team, including Product, Go-To-Market Legal, Corporate Strategy, etc.

The ideal candidate can coordinate across all teams, ensuring internal and external documentation is clear and easy to use. They have the ability to keep complex information in a readable and actionable format. Responsible for Leadership engagement and information, ensuring we are acting for the better of the business in support of GTM strategy. We seek someone with a background in a wide variety of content types; from sales tear sheets, and processes, to user guides. This candidate will be able to partner cross-functionally to gain alignment.

What You'll Do

This role is all about supporting Marqeta's consumer programs through full operational alignment, ensuring a faster time to market and a positive customer experience.

  • Define the customer's journey for delivering a credit program.
  • Partner with teams to centralize all documentation for the consumer journey.
  • Own and maintain the first of its kind, holistic operational playbook internal.
  • Own and maintain the first of its kind, holistic customer-facing consumer product guide.
  • Work closely with Revenue teams to ensure the quality and accuracy of the content maintained within the playbook/guide.
  • Navigate through process evolutions and development to keep the playbook updated and accurate.
  • Test accuracy and own feedback loops of operational documentation.
  • Partner with marketing to create customer-facing tear-sheets and how-to guides in support of the playbook.
  • Coordinate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Revenue to ensure all Customer consumer documentation within their workstreams is up-to-date and in line with the playbook.
  • Communicate changes in processes and content to relevant stakeholders

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a team player who can hit the ground running, with most (if not all) of the following attributes:

  • 3 years of experience in payments (Product, Strategy, Customer Delivery, Partnerships, Operations, etc.)
  • 3+ Years of Experience in content management or process engineer role
  • Superior communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, presentation, written)
  • Familiarity with using and following a style guide
  • Experience using content publishing tools to write, format, manage and publish technical content on the web
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Experience planning and delivering customer-focused documentation.
  • Someone willing to roll up their sleeves to do what is needed to delight our customers
  • A good sense of humor
  • Ability to travel occasionally, ~10%
