Senior Manager, Employee Experience

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Employee Experience to help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Here's what you need to know about the role, our team and why Flatiron Health is the right next step in your career.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll be a member of the Talent Development team and work across the People Team to create and drive an employee engagement strategy that allows Flatiron to succeed in a new era of work. Specifically, you will:

  • Create an engaging, values driven strategy for employee engagement leveraging benchmarked industry trends, data from Flatiron’s annual engagement survey, exit interviews, and new hire surveys.
  • Design and oversee a calendar of events aligned with our employee engagement strategy that drives hybrid participation, and creates purposeful moments of togetherness.
  • Evolve our training strategy and resources to be hybrid friendly, and engaging regardless of whether the participant is in office or remote.
  • Collaborate across the People team (Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, etc.) to ensure that Flatiron’s perks, programs and processes support all of our diverse employees around the globe.
  • Partner with our Office Ops team on the physical Flatiron office spaces to ensure they support participation and engagement of our remote and in-office employees, and hybrid collaboration.
  • Design and implement a scalable process for conducting “engagement interviews” to ensure we are retaining our top talent. Leverage this data to inform which big bets we can take to remain a best-in-class employer of choice.
  • Serve as a member of Flatiron’s Return to Office cross-functional working group to ensure that all employees have a great experience regardless of where they work as the office reopens.

Who You Are

You're a People Operations professional with 8-10 years of experience in employee experience or a similar field (organizational development, talent development, etc.). You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You’re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact. Additionally, you demonstrate the below:

  • Proven track record of ability to develop, and execute on a complex company-wide strategy with input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Practical, business-oriented approach to problem solving with the ability to analyze complex issues quickly and communicate observations and recommendations.
  • Proven data analysis skills and the ability to synthesize key findings from large amounts of information.
  • Ability to manage programs from start to finish. Demonstrates an operational mindset through the ability to drive initiatives forward, think thoughtfully about stakeholder management, and execute.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to comfortably present and write ideas in a way that takes the audience into account, strikes the right level of detail, and drives engagement and excitement.
  • Organizational skills and excellent attention to detail are a must. Thrives on getting things done both quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Can build rapport quickly with teammates, internal stakeholders, managers, and employees.
  • Must be a highly collaborative team player with a “can do attitude”, and the ability to forge great relationships both within and outside the People Ops team
  • You are driven by a sense of accountability, including assuming ownership for achieving personal results and collective team goals
  • You have experience and proven ability to “roll up your sleeves” and prioritize as needed while handling multiple time-sensitive projects in a fast-paced environment

If this sounds like you, you'll fit right in at Flatiron.
