Senior Manager, Product Security Intelligence Analyst

The Senior Manager, Product Security Intelligence Analyst plays an integral role in the mission of the Global Product Security function by serving as an expert resource in the collection, analysis and presentation of information which directly mitigates risks to the Eisai’s people, assets, operations and reputation.

Responsibilities

Maintain and modify as necessary a framework for globally standardized threat analysis product templates and threat ratings system.

Establish regional information collection and reporting priorities annually in consultation with Eisai Global Product Security Management and Eisai business leadership.

In consultation with Eisai Global Product Security Management, annually and as needed, review threat ratings and definitions for countries where the company has a presence.

Coordinate with global product security, Eisai business leadership, and intelligence sources to determine local threat environment for travel to high threat and special circumstance countries.

Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships with applicable Eisai departments to facilitate information exchange and production of joint products where applicable.

Provide content for Eisai product security databases and websites.

Produce, maintain and disseminate global product security publications which provide security information and updates.

Research and write in-depth reports and advisories on risks to employees and operations worldwide. Provide rapid assessments of “breaking” security situations, sensitive developments and complex issues as needed.

Proactively monitor emerging security threats and trends. Keep abreast of activist activity and changing geopolitical events which could impact stability and operations.

Working with our contract partners, prepare detailed, focused threat assessments of regions, countries and specific locations.

Prepare regular briefs on security issues for distribution within Eisai.

Collate and analyze reports of security incidents recorded in global product security’s records management system in order to identify trends.

Coordinate with and provide guidance to applicable Eisai employees and contractors to ensure that consistent, high quality analytical products are delivered.

Coordinate closely with and evaluate services of outside consultants, information providers and other external resources.

Key Stakeholders/Contacts – describe this position’s key internal matrix relationships and key external stakeholders/clients

Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with intelligence, regulatory and law enforcement agencies involved in the collection, evaluation and dissemination of security and intelligence information.

Establish and maintain a network of consultants and experts in international security and geopolitical issues.

Act as a liaison with industry counterparts as well as threat analysts from other industries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Intelligence Analysis or related discipline.

  • An advanced degree is preferred.

  • 3-5 years of global risk and analytical experience in a comparable position with a multi-national corporation and/or entity, Law Enforcement or Intelligence community.

  • Knowledge of international security concerns, pharmaceutical crimes, political issues, overall criminal activities, terrorist organizations, insurgent activities, corruption, militant activist organizations and other relevant issues in countries of interest to the company.

  • Ability to perform under pressure and respond rapidly to breaking situations within tight timelines.

  • Established network within the industry and government including contacts in law enforcement and intelligence communities.

  • Excellent research, analytical, writing and verbal presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as work as part of a team.

  • Ability to work with a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds, countries of origin, and at varying levels within the corporate structures.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point, and ability to present information in a graphic format.

  • Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally if necessary.
