WHO WE NEED

We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager for our MemberClicks brand to join our inbound marketing team and grow our lead acquisition efforts. Under our Director of Associations and Partnerships, you'll own the marketing strategy and implementation for MemberClicks and its suite of add-on products as a part of our Associations team.

Comfort with a lead-driven marketing culture, embracing curiosity and a deep understanding of all facets of marketing will be essential to your success. You'll be working leads across the full funnel with live events, content marketing, digital advertising, influencer marketing (mostly through partner organizations) - and more.

WHO YOU ARE

You're creative but also driven by goals, KPIs and of course – reaching those goals. You're more than a creative marketer: you bring an understanding of B2B strategy, full-funnel marketing, SEO, content optimization, testing and experimentation. You care about how marketing efforts impacts business results and are motivated to take ownership of reporting on what is or isn't working.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Influence and ownership – You will own the MemberClicks marketing program, reaching an audience of mid-sized associations, chambers and nonprofits seeking technology solutions. An impactful multifaceted role. You will be part of a robust marketing team, contributing as a strategist, writer, editor, and project manager. You'll have access to freelancers and agencies to make magic happen, and you'll have access to data you need to see the results of your work.
  • Career development – You'll report to a manager who prides themselves on supporting their team's career progression and skills development. They'll guide and coach you towards increased independence and autonomy in your role.
  • Collaboration – At Personify, we offer a balance between established and responsive, between new and tenured. We are proud to say many of our team members have been here for 5, 10, even 15 years, alongside newer teammates who have joined us recently. We strive to develop team bonding virtually and at in-person events.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Grow your knowledge – You'll dive into learning about our customers: nonprofits, associations, and member-based organizations. You'll explore their web-based groups, newsletters, etc., understand how to position our solutions and comprehend how they are already - or could be - engaging with us.
  • Produce compelling campaigns – You'll create multi-channel marketing campaigns that address the pains and needs of small- to mid-size associations and nonprofits. You'll work agily, learning from testing, results and data to optimize efforts for the highest leads.
  • Apply full funnel thinking – You'll build out your understanding of how thought leadership and content come together to position our solutions as the answer to target markets' pain points.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Education and experience – You have 4+ years of experience in a B2B Marketing or ole, preferably for a SaaS technology company or agency. Exposure to and understanding of the SMB segment. A portfolio demonstrating your ability to capture attention and drive leads is essential.
  • Creativity and the analytics – You can demonstrate creativity that drives leads and results. Ingenuity that is based on data as well as intuition and a willingness to test and learn.
  • Technical expertise – You know how to deploy campaigns across multiple channels and platforms and can demonstrate success across channels. Experience with Marketo is ideal.
  • Your approach – You're self-driven with a desire to experiment, fail, learn and grow. You're a team player who knows collaboration is the key to any organization's success.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills – Your writing is exceptional, and you have equally strong oral and presentation skills. You can easily build a positive, professional relationship with stakeholders at any level, comfortably working across teams.
