Senior Marketing Strategist

As the Senior Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy that aligns to and supports the assigned industry/service business objectives. In this highly collaborative role, you will serve as a strategic partner and marketing advisor to the assigned practice and a member of the marketing organization’s 35-member Go to Market Team.

Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to practice leaders, driving alignment around key issues and solutions, target market focus, and ideal client profile.
  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy in alignment with industry growth goals, audience needs, and services/solutions focus.
  • Perform competitor and market analysis to stay informed and better understand gaps and opportunities that inform marketing strategies.
  • Proactively demonstrate subject matter expertise, providing new ideas, a point of view, and consultation regarding marketing strategy and impact.
  • Plan, manage, and execute an effective content marketing strategy that proactively positions the practice as subject matter experts on a range of issues and fully utilizes keyword optimized content.
  • Develop and optimize omni-channel campaigns and programming that includes a wide range of marketing activities including thought leadership, digital advertising, social media, webinars, tele-prospecting, sponsorships, events, and email.
  • Use a full suite of marketing technology to track marketing program effectiveness and impact on driving leads, pipeline, and revenue.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key associations and strategic partners. Works with practice leaders and Event Center of Excellence to provide direction and management of industry related events and sponsorships including, but not limited to conferences, seminars, trade shows, regional events, and roundtables.


The qualifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required


  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; experience in professional services preferred, not required


  • Demonstrated knowledge of business-to-business marketing and communications


  • Strong listening, interpersonal and decision-making skills. Able to confidently present complex ideas and provide alternative solutions to executive stakeholders


  • Exceptional project management skills

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.

Colorado monthly base range is as follows:

$6,666.67 to $8,916.66
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
