About the Role
Are you a mission-driven HR professional looking to make a significant impact? We're excited to expand our Global People Operations team at Rocket Lawyer, and we need a Senior People Operations Generalist to help us scale and innovate.
As a Senior People Operations Generalist, you'll be a key contributor, building scalable and automated processes to ensure operational excellence. Your dedication to producing high-quality solutions will assist in managing our Talent throughout their life cycle. From HR transactions to performance management and culture initiatives, your expertise will help shape the employee experience.

Architect and develop innovative solutions to enhance the team member experience

Oversee the creation and roll-out of educational resources on HR policies, benefits, compensation, and compliance

Conduct regular employment law and benefit audits to ensure compliance with federal and state laws

Maintain strict data accuracy in HRIS and HR systems

Continually iterate and enhance current practices for scalability and automation

Develop and oversee performance management processes, including goal-setting and training initiatives

Partner with finance on payroll processes and data accuracy
-
Evaluate and improve benefit programs to support our amazing team

Foster a culture of data accuracy and process efficiencies

Ensure compliance with HR practices, regulations, and guidelines

Manage company policies and procedures

Handle HR email inbox and assist with incoming requests

Process US employee leave of absence requests
-
Assist with various People Operations projects and initiatives
-
A minimum of 4 years of experience in HR
-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

Experience in examining and re-engineering HR operations and procedures
-
Experience deploying US leave of absence policies and procedures (CA employment law familiarity is a plus)

Experience with US employment, benefits compliance, and wage laws

Familiarity with information systems used in HR applications (prior BambooHR experience is a plus)

Experience managing projects from inception to completion

Experience in designing and implementing compensation plans and benefit programs (preferred)

Proven ability to work cross-functionally at various organizational levels

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Willingness to travel as necessary
