CounterCraft is seeking a Senior Pre-sales Solutions Architect to serve as the technical arm of the sales account team. You will be responsible for all technical pre-sales activities within your assigned territory. The Senior Presales Solutions Architect is a key member of the customer-facing sales team having primary responsibility for providing pre-sales technical support for the CounterCraft Deception Technology platform. In addition to identifying key customer requirements and presenting the CounterCraft Deception Technology platform and use cases that meet the applicable requirements ensuring that the customer’s needs are being met.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on the CounterCraft Deception Technology platform
  • Qualify opportunities are a technical fit for the CounterCraft solution
  • Lead all aspects of technical pre-sales engagements within assigned territory
  • Relay customer product enhancements requests to the Product Management team
  • Train customers/partners on the CounterCraft deception platform
  • Assist in gathering competitive analysis on competitors
  • Answer questions and demonstrate the solution to potential customers and technical OEM partners
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all customer technical inquiries within assigned territory
  • Communicate with customers and support technical and strategic use case requirements
  • Lead proof of concepts (POCs)
  • Represent CounterCraft on podcasts, webinars, and at conferences, and cybersecurity events. In addition to writing thought leadership articles
  • Actively engage in the technical interview process
  • Provide constructive feedback to sales, product management, engineering, and marketing teams on the core offering
  • Lead technical responses for proposals

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of Pre-sales engineering experience
  • Infosec/cybersecurity background
  • Prior experience selling Security Software-based solutions
  • Experience leading POCs/POVs
  • Strong soft skills and business acumen
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach when engaging with customers
  • Have current knowledge of industry trends, methodologies, mandates, and standards i.e., Zero Trust, CMMC, NIST, MITRE, OMB, PCI, HIPAA, etc.
  • Have experience with various cybersecurity disciplines/technologies i.e., SASE, PAM, MFA, IGA, VMS, SIEM, EDR, NDR, etc.
  • Experience working in a cross matrixed organization
  • Experience serving as a technical liaison between the customer and internal organizations
  • Experience relaying and demonstrating the value proposition to decision-makers (Executives) and influencers (Threat Intel Analyst, Threat Hunting Analyst, Security Architects, etc.)
  • Possess a true entrepreneur spirit (drive & initiative)
  • Experience mentoring new and/or less experienced pre-sales engineers

Desired Requirements

  • Proven experience in intelligence analysis
  • Prior work experience as a CTI Analyst, Threat hunting Analyst, SOC Analyst, or Security Architect
  • Proven experience in business development
  • Existing relationships in key Industry sectors such as the federal government and private sector
  • Expert level understanding of cybersecurity
  • Ability to work as part of a global team
  • Proficient in Cloud, Linux, Windows, Docker, and Python
  • Certifications: CompTIA, ISC2, Microsoft, GIAC, or ISACA certifications are a plus
  • Motivated and focused self-starter with strong leadership skills who can multitask, work independently or within a team
  • Exceptional communication skills including listening, writing, and public speaking
  • Can work in a fast-paced, start-up environment

Salary Range: Variable depending on experience - Possibility of participation in stock option plan.


Travel Requirements: Complete availability as required (COVID permitting)
