Role: Senior React Developer

Location- Chicago IL – hybrid onsite 1 time per week
Duration: 6 months (with extension)

Job Overview:

As a Senior React Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the modernization of a web application, focusing on creating efficient, testable, and reusable code using React and Redux. We are seeking a passionate developer with a diverse skill set across multiple technologies, capable of understanding business requirements and devising creative solutions to deliver an exceptional user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and planning of solutions to maintain high technology standards.
• Tackle complex performance issues and architectural challenges to improve application efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to fellow developers.
• Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot, test, and maintain the product.
• Work within an Agile environment to implement new features and enhance the codebase's performance and quality.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• At least 3 years of expert-level experience with JavaScript, React, Redux, Webpack, and ES6, or equivalent technologies.
• Familiarity with source code repositories like Github.
• Experience with end-to-end CI/CD solutions using platforms like TeamCity.
• Proficiency in web application testing frameworks like Jest or Enzyme.
• Understanding of complex large-scale application architecture.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in a web application development team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BS/BA, preferably in a technical or scientific field, or equivalent experience, education, or training.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Expertise in performance optimization techniques.
• Experience building REST APIs using .Net.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Ability to design high-level application architecture.
