Senior Research Analyst

As a future Senior Research Analyst, you will report to Global Head Research & Strategy, and you will be part of AXA IM Communication.

The individual will be primarily responsible for in-depth analysis of the US real estate markets and work with the rest of the team to define and update our proposed investment strategies, which guide our investment decisions

Your role and responsabilities will include

• Writing market research reports for clients on the US real estate markets
• Writing technical articles for the public domain
• Presenting internally and externally on market and strategic investment views
• Responsible for maintaining online libraries of data, charts and reports on relevant real estate markets
• Presenting to both dept and equity investment committees
• Perform other tasks and projects

Your qualifications and experience

Education/Qualifications

• Degree qualified, with a degree in real estate, economics or finance preferred. Any post-graduate or professional qualifications – such as CFA, CAIA or IMC – are desirable but not essential

Experience

• Significant experience in a relevant field. Experience as an analyst or researcher is preferred
• Previous line management experience is required

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of US commercial real estate markets – industrial/logistics market knowledge preferred
• Macro-economic and financial knowledge
• Strong communication skills: report writing and presentation skills
• A high level of numeracy and general computer literacy (especially MS Office, and preferably modelling packages)
