Asset Tracking Engineered for Intelligence
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join our inclusive team with an interest in making a significant impact at BlackBerry through our solution based software spearheading enterprise transportation and logistics challenges in North America. BlackBerry® Radar — for asset tracking - trailers, intermodal containers & chassis, equipment, railcars and more!
JOIN US and leverage your expertise to drive new business and build out our asset tracking solution. All BlackBerry Radar tracking data is secured with BlackBerry encryption and authentication services; the devices are powered by BlackBerry® QNX®, our OS for embedded systems. BlackBerry Radar devices are rugged and low maintenance, equipped with batteries that can last as much as five years.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Identify new accounts and drive net new business of our asset tracking solution across the logistics and freight forwarding industry in North America.
  • Build and maintain senior level relationships with key accounts and distributors to identify joint regional sales strategies and tactics for achievement of sales targets.
  • Influence the adoption of BlackBerry’s asset tracking solution through strong relationships with identified targeted accounts.
  • Collaborate with the team to influence the overall sales strategy as well as providing recommendations for partnership opportunities with new distributors.
  • Actively support targeted accounts and distributors through all stages of the sales cycle including sales planning, delivery of sales programs/incentives to promote awareness and stimulate demand for BlackBerry.
  • Participating in regional industry trade shows, including delivery of seminars to a diverse audience including end user influencers.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • 7 years minimum of relevant experience with strong prospecting and solution sales B2B experience, ideally gained within the Fleet/Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry.
  • Proven ability to successfully present the value proposition and differentiators of solutions to influence individuals and groups at all levels.
  • Experience translating and communicating key technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor degree in Business or a Technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A sales professional motivated by building relationships, technology and business travel.
