The Senior Salesforce Architect will be responsible for the management and development of salesforce, to ensure full utilization and tailoring of the platform to match and support business objectives, using agile techniques and strategies. Take accountability of Best Design practices and architecture for SFDC footprint holistically. Partner with Regional leadership to manage prototyping, blueprinting functional design, cross module integration, guide the business in utilizing the platform functionality to the best extent possible, including the review of business processes and system integration challenges. The ideal candidate will work on projects related to Salesforce, he/she will be responsible for requirements gathering, facilitating user acceptance test, working directly with key stakeholders, performing periodic data audit, and providing post-deployment support. Collaborate with other business system teams to resolve outstanding issues and ensure data bridging.

The Senior Salesforce Architect will be part of the IT Applications front office team and will be located our Sunnyvale, CA corporate office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop comprehensive Salesforce solutions that align with organizational goals. Design scalable and flexible architectures that leverage Salesforce technologies to meet the needs of the business.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, architects, and administrators. Offer expertise in Salesforce best practices, platform capabilities, and integration strategies. Mentor and coach junior team members.

  • Salesforce Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce solutions, including configuration, customization, data migration, and integration with other systems. Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and architectural principles.

  • Integration and Data Management: Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, both on-premises and in the cloud. Define data models, data flows, and data governance strategies to ensure accurate and consistent data across systems.

  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, architecture diagrams, data models, and integration specifications. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize the performance of Salesforce solutions, including application performance, data loading, and integration throughput. Identify and resolve scalability and performance bottlenecks.

  • Salesforce Platform Upgrades: Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce releases and features. Plan and execute platform upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to existing functionality and customizations. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools that enhance the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in Salesforce implementations. Define and enforce best practices for data security, access control, and user management.

  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with Salesforce representatives and third-party vendors to understand product roadmaps, evaluate new features, and address technical issues. Manage relationships with external vendors and ensure the successful delivery of contracted services.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and Salesforce certifications. Continuously enhance technical skills and share knowledge with the team through training sessions, workshops, and knowledge sharing platforms.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technology or related field plus 10+ years’ experience as an Applications Architect or equivalent role.

  • 4+ experience in Salesforce Platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, Einstein Analytics and Community Cloud.

  • Ability to effectively communicate business process on technical and user levels.

  • Salesforce Certifications (Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in Healthcare or Medical Device industry.

The salary range for this role is ($160k-$175k). This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
