The Workday Worksheets team is dedicated to building an extensible platform and a consumer based interface to enable our customers to work securely with their Workday data in a familiar UX.

About the Role

The Worksheets team is looking for exceptional back-end engineers to help build out the next generation of Workday integrations with a focus on financials (FINS). You will join our team in Boulder to focus on server development, developing high-quality enterprise cloud solutions using modern back-end technologies in Java.

About You

You have talent and passion for crafting usable, scalable, well-tested software! You want to work in a highly collaborative, agile environment. You love learning new technologies, languages, tools, and frameworks – and thinking carefully about which ones will be of real benefit in your projects.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of proven experience in software development using Java
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or 5+ years equivalent experience

Other Qualifications

Proficient in Java and strong in algorithms and data structures
Experience with SQL and database modeling (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, etc.).
Strong grasp for design patterns, coding standards, and unit testing.
Exposure to JUnit, RabbitMQ, Jackson, Docker, and Zookeeper.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise software, components, frameworks and applications.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
You are looking to grow and have mentorship opportunities.
Strong communicator, who takes the initiative to get stuff done.
You are ready to partner with Product Managers and Design to build prototypes and iterate towards solutions.

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The base pay range for the primary location of this job is listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, future potential and internal pay parity. Primary Location: USA.CO.Boulder

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $142,400 - $213,600
