This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the United States.
Calix is looking for an experienced Senior Stock Administrator to join the Finance team. They will report to our Technical Accounting and External Reporting Director and assist the administration of Calix’s global equity plans, including equity awards, RSA releases, ESPP purchases, option exercises, employee transitions and more. The Senior Stock Administrator will work closely with our partners in Finance, HR and Legal, and will serve as a key resource for maintaining a high level of service and handling special projects as Calix continues to grow.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for administration of global equity programs.
Administer multiple ESPP programs including purchase of shares; monitor ESPP limits.
Manage option grant activity including grant agreements.
Manage end-to-end grant process, including maintaining the equity administration database (currently in ETrade / Equity Edge Online).
Reconcile and approve DWACs and work with the stock transfer agent to clear transactions.
File Form 3’s and 4’s using Workiva.
Partner and work closely with Accounting and Legal to support SEC filings including Proxy.
Provide information to Accounting for Stock-Based Compensation calculations.
Partner and work closely with Tax, Payroll, HR, Legal, Transfer Agents, Auditors and others to maintain. income and tax reporting files; administer global mobility tax compliance; provide accurate information and timely support.
Maintain SOX equity procedures and other regulatory requirements for stock plans, domestic and international.
Assist with employee needs/questions/providing a high level of customer service.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual Transfer Agent and internal reconciliations.
Assist with 10b5-1 trading plan review and compliance.
Process improvement includes automating manual functions, increasing efficiencies, scaling the equity administration function, evaluating service providers, etc.
Assist Technical Accounting and External Reporting Director on special projects and SEC Reporting support.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience with global equity administration with international experience.
Experience with E-Trade stock platform including Equity Edge Online.
Prior public company experience is required.
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) strongly preferred.
A trusted and capable business partner with infallible integrity and discretion.
Strong attention to detail with excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
Excellent project management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with high-volume stock plans and best practices.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, comfortable speaking to an audience, creating and delivering presentations, and communicating with teammates at all levels.
Advanced Excel skills.
Team player, comfortable with ambiguity and results oriented.
