The Senior Web & Digital Brand Designer is responsible for the prototyping, wireframing, designing, and maintaining an on-brand experience on www.cepheid.com.

This position is part of the Corporate Communications Department and will be a remote position. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Be the design lead on Cepheid’s corporate site and branded digital projects from concept to completion through wireframing, design collaboration, prototyping, and creative development.

• Work independently, mentoring and collaborative with a diverse team. Solve complex digital problems, understand a broad perspective, and push to innovate Cepheid's branded digital experience.

• Develop, maintain, and evolve web/digital guidelines, templates, and digital best practices, helping to enforce brand standards and design principles. Experience in brand management.

• Understand and apply web design methodologies, SEO, and emerging web trends. Leverage data analytics to enhance new and maintain existing page design strategies to meet both the business and marketing strategies. You don’t settle for good enough.

• Collaborate with all stakeholders: from the brand team, UX team, outside agencies, in-house design/creatives, and key marketing owners to maintain the visual web strategy roadmaps, navigate the brand digital experience and deliver high-quality creative on-brand.

• Deliver and drive quality digital products under tight timelines and ensuring that all work has strong attention to detail and the Cepheid brand experience is at the forefront of digital projects.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of long-standing experience in web and digital design.

• Proficient in Sketch, Webflow/ Framer, Adobe AEM, Adobe Creative Suite (Figma), After Effects, and Cinema 4D/Zbrush/Redshift, and proficient on Mac and PC.

• Proficient in Web Design, responsive design, and mobile design.

• Experience in UX/UI, HTML/CSS/SASS, JavaScript and able to work within Bootstrap and Tailwind.

• Experience in motion, animations, and 3D visual and product design from concept to completion.

• Able to express and present ideas to both technical and non-technical individuals and take web concepts from idea to completion.

• Portfolio showcasing work and your love for the web and digital design.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience working in healthcare/life sciences industry a plus.

The salary range for this role is ($120k-$135k). This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
