Maintenance Planner/Scheduler
Shearer’s is looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join their team. The role involves planning and scheduling maintenance work streams, overseeing job scoping, maintenance project implementation, CMMS management, and continuous improvement efforts.
Skills
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of Preventative/Predictive Maintenance principles
- Strong knowledge of production and manufacturing equipment
- Ability to work a variable schedule
Responsibilities
- Plan corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance
- Update corrective and preventative Job Plans
- Build and maintain equipment in CMMS system
- Train maintenance personnel on CMMS usage
- Manage CMMS as a Subject Matter Expert
- Generate reports on Maintenance Effectiveness
- Manage non-capital funded Maintenance projects
- Interface with project teams on new capital projects
- Participate in Continuous Improvement and Safety efforts
- Source new vendors to support business needs
- Develop work order priorities aligned with business needs
- Monitor maintenance records and work orders
Education
- High school or equivalent degree required
- Two-year technical degree or 3 years planning experience
