Hood Container Corporation is seeking a skilled Shipping and Receiving Clerk for their Packaging Solutions plant located in Evansville, IN.
*Must be willing to work overtime if needed*
The Receiving Clerk will report to the Logistics Supervisor.

Verifies counts as materials leave or enter the warehouse area.

Work with shipping and receiving on incoming and outgoing materials.

Work with customer service on issues relating to orders and materials needed for production.

Must ensure that all materials being removed from shipping and receiving area are accurately recorded on the correct form, and that all materials have been properly banded and/or wrapped to ensure that they will “hold up” in the warehouse.

Performs all other tasks assigned by Logistics Supervisor.

Operates a forklift when needed.

Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED).-
Two years of experience working in a manufacturing or shipping environment.

Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
