We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, can accurately lift and carry up to 50 pounds and has strong attention to detail. Our Shipping and Receiving Clerk will also need to ensure that incoming shipments are logged into the system and that outgoing shipments are prepared for shipment. This individual is also responsible for ensuring that all warehouse personnel adhere to OSHA regulations, particularly when it comes to hand-tools and lifting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and verify packages to ensure that they are in good condition.
• Receive and store incoming shipments.
• Transport merchandise from storage areas to storerooms.
• Verify store inventory levels and replenish inventory as necessary.
• Shelve merchandise on the sales floor.
• Use proper lifting techniques to unload merchandise from delivery trucks.
• Know how to use a hand truck.
