We are seeking an experienced leader to establish and transform the SDET team in the organization and deliver scalable solutions in the following areas:


Product Quality - Ensure world-class product quality with system approaches such as automation, test framework, dogfooding, performance monitoring, and reporting. Create test cases, manage full product test cycles and manual tests with partner teams


Tooling & Productivity - Automate development process, operation, and customer service to increase organization productivity and efficiency. Develop internal tools and back-office portal.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SDET with great leadership to achieve company goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PM, engineering, infra, operation, and customer service to align testing strategies, increase operation efficiency, and improve development productivity
  • Define the quality standard in engineering organization, roadmap for product quality, and strategize test automation 
  • Identify areas of inefficiency in the test process, and quality defects in the overall ShopBack products


Essentials to Succeed
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, automation, and testing
  • Proven track record in leadership/management roles, leading software engineering teams
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with various automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cypress, Jenkins, and other modern test automation frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices and how test automation fits within DevOps pipelines
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
  • Experience in mobile (iOS and Android) and web application testing is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of performance and load testing is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
