Create solid foundations for our Mobile technology and deliver exceptional mobile applications. Be critical in defining what “Mobile” means in the Mobile-First company.

What will you do:

As our second mobile engineer, you are expected to work side by side with our Lead Mobile in designing and creating the foundations, the present and the future of Mobile for the company.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Evolve our Mobile capabilities, pushing the boundaries of what can be done.

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders, designers, and other developers to create the experiences to build.

  • Define, build, improve and evolve our Mobile tools and architecture.

  • Developing and delivering high-quality applications side by side with the designer and backend engineer.

  • Actively monitoring the applications' performance and user behavior for potential improvements to enhance user experience or fix potential bugs.

  • Develop tools, processes, libraries, or components, as needed, to enhance efficiency in development.

What we are looking for:

  1. Mobile Engineering:

    • Proficiency in mobile development for both iOS and Android platforms using React Native.

    • Familiarity with mobile app design principles and best practices.

    • Track record of developed applications.

    • Knowledge of backend interactions and integration points.

  2. UI/UX Design:

    • Ability to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.

    • Understanding of usability principles and user-centric design.

    • Experience with component creation, usability, and interactive design.

    • Understanding and addressing the differences and nuances between iOS and Android platforms.

  3. Performance and Data mindset:

    • Expertise in designing scalable and maintainable mobile architectures and ability to determine when and how certain architectural patterns are needed.

    • Understand which metrics need to be measured for different aspects such as user behavior, business, app performance, etc.

  4. Collaboration and Communication across the board:

    • Capable of actively participating in discussions with all stakeholders on every step of the development process with a solution-oriented mindset.

    • Effective communication and collaboration in a team environment with business professionals, designers, and other developers.

    • Proven experience in working collaboratively on projects.

    • Ability to challenge everything and everyone in pursuit of the company's best interests.

  5. Business and Product Mindset:

    • Ability to understand the "why" behind what we're building, the need we're solving, the users we're targeting, and the markets we're aiming in order to develop great mobile products.

    • Capability to align mobile development efforts with broader business objectives.

    • Awareness of customer needs and the ability to prioritize features based on impact and value.

  6. Cultural Fit:

    • Commitment to the company's vision and willingness to help in any way to achieve it.

    • Excellence-driven, always seeking to deliver the best solution possible but with a mindset of delivering quickly and iterating later.

  • Working on companies where the main product is Mobile.

  • Amazing expertise in React Native.

  • 4+ Years of experience in Mobile technologies.

  • Been working on a mobile application with more than 1 Million downloads

  • Comfortable working in English
