Simulation Coordinator for the School of Nursing

The Simulation Coordinator will provide instructional support of the day-to-day operations within the Nursing simulation space and is responsible for the preparation, operation, and overall maintenance of all simulation equipment and supplies, including simulators, manikins, control devices, and audio-visual equipment where applicable. This individual will work in collaboration with the National Simulation Director, Campus Simulation Champion, Nursing Leadership, Campus Director, faculty, and students to promote excellence in simulation education.
Responsibilities:
Simulation Center Operations – 80%
Technology Support – 20%
Reporting Relationships:
The Simulation Coordinator reports directly to the Nurse Administrator, who may be a Dean of Nursing, Associate Dean of Nursing or Area Dean of Nursing. The Simulation Coordinator collaborates closely with the National Simulation Director and campus leadership regularly. This role also interacts with the Nursing Laboratory Assistant when necessary. This role has no direct reports.
