Responsibilities:
Peraton requires a Travel Coordinator to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3. Positions are located at the SOCOM Headquarters at MacDill, AFB FL, and at the TSOC and Component locations in the United States and abroad.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Plans, leads, and manages the collaboration, coordination, and scheduling of the organization's travel needs.

Manages CONUS/ OCONUS travel arrangements and claims. Ensures travel arrangements and claims meet both Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and the organization's travel policy.Prepares expense authorizations for all CONUS/ OCONUS travel and verifies funding availability and the active period of performance for all travel arrangements.

Schedules hotel and flight accommodations and procures necessary documentation such as passports, visas, or other clearances.

Ensures that travel needs are met within the constraints of the travel budget.

Ensures travel requests and expense reports are properly approved, accurately entered and paid in a timely manner.

Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of travel requests and expense reports.

Collaborates with travelers, vendors, and government staff where necessary, to rapidly resolve travel emergencies.

Some positions may require working a non-traditional work schedule to support the needs of the customer.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:

HS and 5-6 years experience

Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and deconflict complex travel plans without impact to the traveler.

Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely, submit and track visit requests, and track other traveler information as required

Excellent interpersonal skills to elicit detailed information from subject-matter experts (for example, applications developers),
-
Advanced writing, grammatical and editing skills.

Adept in document creation using applications such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Experience in a technical setting.
