About the Role:

The Documentation team at Sitecore is looking for a new team member with a background in Next.js to write for a front-end developer audience.

What You’ll Do:

Write documentation for the Sitecore front-end developer community, including conceptual developer documentation and code snippets
Collaborate with engineering teams and product managers to identify documentation requirements and manage resulting work items
Become best friends with developer advocates, programmer writers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather input for documentation
Use community feedback to prioritize and improve our documentation.

What You Need to Succeed:

Have experience as a technical writer or as a front-end developer that loved to document
Strong command of the English language
Ability to read and create developer content for SaaS products. Knowledge of current SaaS and web service technologies such as REST APIs, GraphQL, JavaScript, and React
Quick to understand new technologies and communicate their inherent complexities in a simple, straightforward fashion
Curious and inquisitive with a structured and independent approach to completing your assignments
Passionate about creating high quality documentation that meets the needs of customers and partners
You take the work seriously but not yourself seriously and welcome editor help

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

Proficient with web development frameworks such as Next.js, React, Angular or Vue.js
Experienced with platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, Cloudflare or similar
Knowledge of API-driven Headless Content Management Systems (REST/GraphQL)
