We're open to trying new hobbies and even playing computer games together for "research"Our designers share many similar qualities• Are enthusiastic about design, and obsess over their craft and creations• Are motivated, quick learners, ready to pick up new skills.• Enjoy brainstorming creative solutions and exploring different ideas before settling on one• Embrace uncertainty and are ready to navigate through complexity and feedback in order to create the best visual designYou'll hit the ground running• Kick off projects with fellow, talented designers (motion, graphic, and product designers) and cross-teams (marketing and product)• Take projects from 0 to 100 by coming up with design concepts and ultimately creating assets that grab viewers' attention and entice them to engage with our product and features• Make a direct impact on the product - your work will seen by thousands if not millions of people; assets will be used directly in our app and web products, on popular social media platforms, featured on physical/ digital billboards, or even streamed on TV commercials and partner podcast shows in order to grow our product and user base• Further the Sleeper brand by adhering to our design principles and visual language, but also push the boundaries when necessary• Collaborate with other design functions to keep up with trends and evolve the brand over time• Come up with creative marketing ideas that will blow our users' mindsWe're scouting for team players who...• Are pursuing a degree in a related field; or grads with around 1 or less years of experience.• Have strong collaboration skills and can work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.• Understand fundamentals of visual design• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop , Illustrator, AfterEffects)• Have strong attention-to-detail skills, are proactive, and are very willing to learn• Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictionExtra points if you...• Have experience designing for cross platform products (Web, android, iOS)• Know how to use Figma• Have skills or experience with motion graphic design or interaction design• Have a passion for art & creating storyboardsBenefits And Perks• This position will be fully remote, and we are accepting candidates based out of or willing to work in the PST time-zone• Regular game-time to play virtual games and company hangouts• Company-sponsored fantasy leagues with real prizes• Completing the 12-week internship will automatically qualify the individual to be considered for full-time position; full-time candidacy only considered for individuals willing to relocate to west-coast, PST time-zoneSleeper believes in quality over quantity, and intentionally keeps our team small as a result. Certain locations in the United States require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the base salary range and/or a general description of benefits and other compensation applicable to the role. For this role in those locations, a reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for new hires is $18 USD to $26 USD per hour. No overtime work allowed, and the internship is 12 weeks.
