Role Summary
The Client Service role for the Retail Separately Managed Accounts (SMA) business is focused on supporting our growing SMA franchise as we continue to expand our current offer. This role is designed to be a technical expert of SMAs and will work alongside Sales and our external vendor to understand and meet client needs within our existing operational capabilities. The Analyst leverages their expert knowledge and understanding of the intermediary and SMA business to resolve complex client issues and leads process improvements to eliminate risk. This role is intended to be a primary point person for SMAs when subject matter expertise is needed.
Responsibilities:

Subject matter expert on operational components related to managed accounts. Primary point of contact for assisting Sales associates and clients with technical aspects related to Managed Accounts support, including onboarding new assets and ongoing servicing of existing assets.

Liaise with SMA Product team regarding technical questions or other operational issues that arise. Scope includes single/dual contract SMAs and retail SMAs / model delivery.

Streamline onboarding of assets, and support for related connectivity issues.

Provide vendor oversight to ensure client accounts are established and maintained appropriately.

Services the ongoing investment operational needs of complex clients, including identifying data trends and analysis to support operational needs. Consults with clients and addresses highly complex, nonstandard servicing requirements. Raises awareness and teaches others how and when to escalate issues.

Communicates on a regular basis with clients and their service providers to deliver high-quality services. Monitors risk and engages in problem solving by critically questioning and analyzing practices that impact the client experience.
Qualifications:
Required:

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND

5+ years of total relevant work experience

Managed Accounts / SMA related product or operational experience

Extensive knowledge of the financial service industry

Strong consultative, client service, and relationship building skills

Working knowledge of the Archer IMS system
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
