Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Small Door is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to manage and scale their payroll and benefits strategy in a growing membership-based veterinary care company.

Skills

Multi-state payroll processing
Knowledge of state and federal payroll regulations
Experience with PEO transitions
Payroll system implementation

Responsibilities

Process end-to-end payroll for US and Canadian teams
Lead implementation of new payroll and benefits admin system
Build internal payroll processes for scale
Serve as main point of contact for payroll and benefits
Own benefits administration and annual open enrollment processes
Develop and manage payroll audits and tax filings

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
