Logistics Coordinator (Part Time)

ROLE SUMMARY


As Logistics Coordinator, this role is responsible for over the road trucks that pick-up, secure, and deliver freight, product and/or commodities for So Good Brand to designated customer destinations nation-wide.


General working hours are Thursday, Friday, Monday - 8:00am-4:00pm.

What You'll Do
  • Creates and manages daily/weekly trucking schedules.
  • The coordinator will manage the execution of On Time & In Full  (OTIF) deliveries including, but not limited to:
  • Using the  Transportation Management System (TMS) platform to tender orders to carrier partners. 
  • Ensure pick-up and delivery appointments are executed according to 3PL and customer requirements. 
  • Track, record and monitor load movement in the TMS platform.
  • Coordinate any special customer requirements.
  • Organize rescues and reverse logistic loads as needed.
  • Keep all stakeholders up to date.
  • Responsible for daily transport related queries and/or issues, including after hour support for haulers, plant, and customer issues.
  • Responsible for ensuring proper communication and execution is given if the cold chain is interrupted.
  • Ensure most competitive carriers are used for the execution of freight.
  • Additional Duties:
  • Works closely with operations to ensure on-time departure and route guide compliance.
  • Work closely with quality control to ensure there is proper communication in the event of cold chain interruptions.
  • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
  • Understands and upholds B Corp principles which consider all stakeholder groups: community, customers, environment, governance and workers.

Qualifications
  • Strong math and analytical skills.
  • Strong computer skills, familiarity with MS Office programs, email, etc.
  • Understanding of TMS programs and ability to navigate various portals/ program functionality.
  • Familiarity with inventory management or warehouse management experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with refrigerated TL & LTL services is a plus.


Education & Experience
  • Associate Degree minimum, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 1+ years transportation / logistics experience
  • Previous experience in Customer Service
  • Proven success in prior, similar role


$25 - $30 an hour
