Summary
As a Social Media Manager working for Taylor Morrison you will lead the organization’s social strategy and execution for one of the nation’s leading home building brands. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing a brand's social media identity, planning and executing all aspects of organic social across channels, has strong copywriting skills, a creative eye, and desire to learn and grow with the rapidly changing social media landscape.
The Social Media Manager will develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with and supports the Taylor Morrison brand. Responsibilities include community growth and care, development and execution of social strategy, and reporting on performance and analytics to inform decision making. Reporting to the VP of Brand Marketing, the Social Media Manager will ensure social media strategies align with branding and messaging objectives.

Job Details
We trust that as a Social Media Manager you will: (responsibilities)

Develop a holistic social media strategy and platform specific tactics (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Threads, etc.)

Create campaigns that align with brand communication, messaging, tone of voice and company initiatives

Decide which content to use and test to optimize strategy

Grow and engage the Taylor Morrison social community

Identify and cultivate our target audiences
-
Monitor conversations and trends across social media platforms to timely respond and inform relevant internal teams of questions, product suggestions, story ideas and trending topics

Identify and set platform specific goals and KPIs
-
Create social media ad copy and work with in-house design team on industry leading graphics

Manage monthly content calendar and support asset creation/curation efforts

Active listening, engagement and analysis on a daily basis

Collaborate with Marcomm team to develop and implement online initiatives to support strategic partners

Monitor social media platforms to identify top performing posts to make recommendations on future content and note potential trends and consumer insights

Share weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance updates, including wins, learnings, and opportunities for improvement

About you:

5+ years of experience in social media and community management

Experience in social monitoring/listening/management tools and reporting

Highly creative
-
A portfolio that demonstrates a unique eye for creating engaging social content for a brand

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related degree

Excellent writing skills – including copywriting, editing and proofreading

Proficiency in photography, videography and video/photo editing preferred

Experience with social media management software

Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud preferred

In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and how to use each platform for various objectives

Experience with the Facebook Business Manager and all of its components
-
Ability to work independently as well as in groups to bring projects to fruition
