Unit Description:Come work for the world’s leading private employer of Registered Dietitians!Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian for Lehigh Valley Hospital - Schuylkill located in Pottsville, PA. This position will cover a variety of patients at this 120-bed medical facility, and will work inpatient three days a week, and at the Outpatient Nutrition Clinic two days a week. This dietitian will also have the opportunity to cover remotely at an 800-bed teaching hospital, which is a great opportunity to grow clinical skills. The Clinical Nutrition team at LVHN is 70+ dietitians strong, with a supportive leadership team. Our dietitians have the opportunity to participate in research, process improvement and professional development.Benefits:• reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal• three weeks of vacation, eight holidays and three personal days paid each year• reimbursement for continuing education events• up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annuallyThe successful candidate will:• provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;• provide MNT counseling to patients one day a week in the outpatient setting;• work a rotating weekend schedule;• participate in quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department; and• educate health care team members, including physicians and nurses.Is this opportunity right for you?
