Unit DescriptionCome work for the world’s leading private employer of Registered Dietitians!Sodexo is seeking a Full-Time Dietitian Nutritionist II to join their clinical nutrition team at UNC Health Johnston Clayton Facility a 50 bed facility.The Dietitian will assist the Smithfield location as needed. This new team member will be responsible for providing support to inpatient units and outpatient clinics, as assigned.Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days!Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal!Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!The Dietitian Nutritionist will report to the Clinical Nutrition Manager and will:• Be a Registered Dietitian with at 3- 5 years of experience. • Advanced certification (CNSC) or CDCES preferred, but not required.• Prior nutrition support experience is preferred • Maintain responsibility for comprehensive nutrition assessments and reassessments,intervention including nutrition support, education, and counseling patients and their familiesper the Nutrition Care Process model. • Provide education to patients, as well as staff, and work well with physicians, nursing, occupational and speech therapists, and other ancillary staff. Liaison for food service. • Possess the ability to creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team- oriented work environment. • Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide varietyof individuals and groups. • Serve as a preceptor for dietetic interns, as needed. • Strong time management and organizational skills are required to be successful in this position.Is this opportunity right for you?
