Position Description

A self driven individual with an eye for detail and a knack for breaking stuff, you’ll be working along a closely tight knit team to deliver the highest quality software either by testing features, pointing out flaws in design or voicing your concerns while also building a set of automated tests that will help reduce your regression time.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure development processes support software quality best practices around testing
• Understand functional requirements of all technology systems
• Validate and prove that software meets functional and scalability requirements
• Ensure quality of the system as a whole
• Develop automated tests (either API or UI) for software validation
• Create and improve existing systems and architecture testing documentation
• Test new features, file tickets and ensure quality throughout the team
• Participate in all Scrum sessions – planning, grooming, reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with other development teams and cross functional groups.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working as a software test engineer or similar role
  
• Comfortable coding with Javascript
• Familiarity with modern browser dev tools
• Must be familiar to postman or other type of API testing tools
• Experience with cross-browser testing platforms like Sauce Labs and BrowserStack

• Fluent in writing automated tests using tools like Puppeteer/Cypress

• Basic knowledge of load, stress and performance testing

• Excellent testing skills (design test plan and test strategy, writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)

• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and CircleCI

• Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
