Your Role: What you'll be doing

Engage with Product Owners, Technology Architects, Engineering and/or Automation team members on cross-functional activities to ensure adequate quality standards are in place throughout the SDLC.
Adhere to implementation methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
Perform the design or specification of inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; conducts code, test, and software reviews; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
Develop and implements Quality operating procedures, practices, and standards that represents Quality objectives and strategies that are critical to organizational success. Interprets and consistently executes company policies and procedures.
Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
Specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.
Lead a team of Software Quality Engineers providing guidance and mentoring, task distribution via Kanban Dashboard, and collaboration on general team support.
Provide guidance, advice, and feedback to support the team and ensuring the growth of the organization.
Lead medium to large, complex, and dynamic projects to successful completion with a collaborative team in an agile environment.

Your Background: What education and experience you'll need

Requires a bachelor’s degree and 6-10 years of experience.

Your Background: What skills you'll need

Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related technical field from an accredited college or university.
Industry experience in Quality Engineering as it relates to Product Development, Software, RCCA, Causal Analysis, Metrics, or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, share experience, mentor junior engineers in the group, and lead by example.
Proven experience with software development, software project management, or equivalent, preferably within the Aerospace and/or Space Launch industry.
Ability to read and write code in Ada, C++, Python and/or Java.
Familiarity with Git or other VCS tools
Ability to compile presentations and documentation on specific project charters and present to customers, USG, and relevant ULA audiences.
Previous experience in a software engineering integration lab testing environment is highly desired.
Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 or direct auditor experience is preferred

Summary Salary Range (Colorado Only)

$106,040 - $165,610

Please note that the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon a candidate’s experience and qualifications, as well as internal equity, market and business considerations. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in addition to base pay.
