SDL is seeking a highly motivated and organized Software Systems Engineer for the Hybrid Architecture Demonstrations (HAD) program within the Software Development Branch either located in Albuquerque, New Mexico or in Logan, UT. The HAD program investigates the military utility of the Hybrid Space Architecture, which requires a high level of engagement between military end-users and technical teams. Overall, this position aims to improve experiment design, performance metrics gathering, and results documentation for software demonstration events. This software systems engineer role requires focused efforts to understand the customer’s vision, stakeholder use-cases, the technical solution, and requirements validation mechanisms so that they can be documented and tracked for continuous, responsive performance improvements for the military end-user.
