We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team near North Detroit, Michigan. This is a full-time position that requires a Michigan teaching license in special education. If you are committed to making a difference in the lives of students with special needs and creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment, we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.• Provide direct instruction and support to students in small groups or one-on-one settings.• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure the best learning outcomes.• Adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students and support their academic, social, and emotional growth.• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff development programs.• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.Requirements:• Must hold a valid Michigan Special Education Teaching License.• Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.• Strong communication and collaboration skills.• Ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.Interview Process:10-15 minute screening call with a Soliant Education Recruiter20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School DistrictOffer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interviewA dedicated & qualified Science Teacher looking to make a positive impact, we encourage you to apply.
