A bit about the role…

Solink is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Treasury Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the company’s treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, debt management, and risk mitigation. The Senior Treasury Analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure the company’s financial stability and support strategic decision-making.

WHO YOU ARE 

• You are required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or CFA designation is preferred.

• You are expected to have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related field, with a focus on cash management, financial analysis, and risk management.

• You are knowledgeable about financial markets, instruments, and treasury operations.

• You are recognized for your excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• You are skilled in communication and interpersonal interactions, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• You are committed to high attention to detail and maintaining accuracy and compliance in your work.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;

• Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;

• Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Cash Management:

• You are responsible for managing daily cash operations, including cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity planning.

• You are tasked with ensuring the optimal utilization of cash resources and maintaining adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.

• You are expected to monitor and reconcile bank accounts and cash flows.

• You are involved in managing Accounts Receivable to optimize cash collections and improve working capital.

Treasury Operations:

• You are required to execute and manage all treasury transactions, including payments, investments, and foreign exchange.

• You are responsible for maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure favorable terms and services.

• You are tasked with administering the company’s debt portfolio, including loan facilities.

Risk Management:

• You are expected to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including currency, interest rate, and counterparty risks.

• You are responsible for developing and implementing hedging strategies to protect against market volatility.

• You are required to ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements related to treasury activities.

Financial Reporting:

• You are responsible for preparing and presenting detailed cash flow reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior management.

• You are involved in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, focusing on treasury-related disclosures.

• You are expected to help maintain and develop the company’s long-term financial model to support strategic planning and decision-making.

• You are required to support internal and external audits related to treasury functions.

Process Improvement:

• You are tasked with continuously evaluating and enhancing treasury processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• You are expected to lead treasury-related projects, including the implementation of new tools and technologies.

• You are responsible for developing and maintaining treasury policies and procedures.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• You are expected to provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• You are required to collaborate with the finance team and other departments to support company-wide financial objectives.

• You are committed to staying updated on industry trends and best practices to bring innovative solutions to the treasury function.
