Project/site manager for Timber Frame company

We are small established Timber Frame company, expanding our project management turnkey projects arm of the business. We have immediate vacancy for competent PM/Site manager, role to include

 

·      High level quoting at outset

·      Detailed procurement/CSA

·      Project planner using MS project

·      Client calls/meeting to discuss project at pre contract stage

·      Ensuring all pre-commencement requirements fulfilled

·      Sign off engineering drawings on behalf of customer

·      Liaising with utility companies

·      Setting up site office/welfare

·      Ensuring H&S set up

·      Arranging scaffold

·      Managing trades to site and overseeing work

·      Ensuring Building control visit and sign off accordingly 

·      Track progress of build and provide valuations for payment

·      Good network of trusted reliable trades

·      Able to manage residential site, supervise staff, check quality of work, snagging

 

 

The right candidate must have experience in all of the above and be a self-starter independent worker. We all work remotely for office-based tasks, however must be prepared to travel to site. Two projects upcoming in Surrey and North London, both due to run until autumn next year. There is the potential to join the team on a permanent basis if suited both the individual and the business. Competent using project management tools

Previous trade in building

Excellent communication/interpersonal skills

Full clean drivers license
