We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Solution Architect to lead the migration, consolidation, and architecture of complex WordPress environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in WordPress across cloud, vanilla, and on-premise setups, with strong hands-on experience in front-end development, PHP, and multi-site configurations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure WordPress solutions tailored to business requirements.

• WordPress Architecture & Strategy:
• Design and implement scalable WordPress solutions for migration and consolidation projects, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability. 
• Lead architectural decisions for multi-site, cloud-based, and on-premise WordPress environments. 
• Evaluate and select the right tools, frameworks, and plugins for project requirements. 

• Migration & Consolidation:
• Plan and execute the migration of WordPress websites from diverse environments to a unified platform. 
• Consolidate multiple WordPress sites into streamlined multi-site networks with minimal downtime and data loss. 
• Optimize workflows and processes during migrations to improve performance and scalability. 

• Development & Customization:
• Provide hands-on development for custom themes, plugins, and integrations using PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress REST APIs. 
• Ensure front-end designs are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for speed and SEO. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the WordPress environment, including debugging and optimizing code. 

• Cloud & On-Premise Expertise:
• Architect WordPress environments across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise setups. 
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for WordPress deployments. 
• Design and manage secure, high-performance hosting solutions, including containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes). 

• Collaboration & Leadership:
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. 
• Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices for WordPress coding standards and architecture. 

• Performance Optimization & Security:
• Optimize WordPress performance through caching, CDN integration, and database tuning. 
• Ensure adherence to security best practices, including vulnerability assessments, access control, and regular patch management. 

• Proven experience in WordPress migration and consolidation projects, including multi-site networks. 
• Hands-on expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Vue.js) and PHP for WordPress. 
• In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, theming, plugin development, and REST API. 
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise hosting solutions. 
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. 
• Strong understanding of database design and optimization (MySQL) for WordPress environments. 
• Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for WordPress. 
• Knowledge of performance optimization tools and techniques, including caching (e.g., Redis, Varnish), CDN integration, and SEO best practices. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders. 

• Experience with headless WordPress setups (e.g., using WPGraphQL or REST API). 
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices in the context of WordPress. 
• Deep Understanding in cloud platforms (Azure). 
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
