Sorting Robotics Inc. is seeking a highly organized and analytical Business Operations Manager to join our team. As the Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for optimizing and streamlining our internal processes to drive efficiency and productivity throughout the organization.

Our advanced robotic solutions handle time-consuming jobs in the cannabis manufacturing value chain so customers can focus on growth and innovation. As you will be working directly with the founder, expect to learn a lot in a short amount of time.

This is a "get your hands dirty" leadership position. There will be long hours and days where nothing works; but in the end you will be working on a multi-million dollar product in a room full of people that appreciate you.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of the business as a whole.
  • Analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and then document in high fidelity all processes.
  • Assist the CEO in operations of the company, including legal, business compliance, customer support, inventory, production, hiring, finance and overall company workflow.
  • Assist the sales team in administrative tasks, including contract signing and documentation.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance.
  • Manage and optimize the configuration of internal systems and tools.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cannabis and the cannabis industry is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in business operations and in managing team members.
  • Proven track record of optimizing business processes and driving operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems including but not limited to: Hubspot, Slack, Airtable, Inflow,
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday onsite
  • Weekends if necessary

Salary: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year + 0.2% Equity + Full Benefits + fun company perks
