Worship Production

This position oversees and leads Production at Southland’s Georgetown Campus. Team leadership is an important part of this position leading a large volunteer team to accomplish services and events. In addition this position will serve the church at large in service/event planning through collaborative teamwork. For the right person, this position also includes the ability to flex a musical muscle with occasional opportunities to lead worship by serving in our band and regular interaction with our music staff and volunteer team.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborate with the Georgetown Worship Pastor on stage setup
• Manage weekly AVL set-up and maintenance
• Oversee service production process including communicating details and expectations before rehearsals, executing rehearsals, and providing post service follow-up
• Collaborate with the Lead Producer and Georgetown Worship Pastor on weekly service walkthrough
• Collaborate with the Georgetown Worship Pastor on last minute changes and troubleshooting items

• Mentor individuals in the areas of audio, video and lighting
• Pastor and shepherd individual team members

• Collaborate to plan stage designs, special lighting and video elements
• Work with our central team to execute large church-wide events
• Research current trends and practices in production and worship ministries
• Grow in your live production skills alongside the team by participating in training opportunities
• Attend meetings as needed
• Foster consistent communication
• Build strong relationships with the Production leads

• Support local campus events 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the Georgetown campus team members

The schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday and does include regular evening responsibilities.
