Spalding Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer in Lexington Park, MD . Spalding Consulting, Inc. is a professional services company delivering cutting-edge solutions to the Department of Defense since 2001. Spalding Consulting offers competitive compensation, career development, flexible work schedules and excellent benefits.Position Type: Full-TimeWork Location: This is a remote position (see on-site requirements below).On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD for candidates that are local to the area. Candidates out of state will be onboarded virtually. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however for local candidates, training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.Become a member of a collaborative team focused on creating solutions to support various data analysis and visualization efforts within NAVAIR. Develop and support applications to support customer data calls, process improvements, and decision-making capabilities. Implement tools and techniques to achieve customer goals.Essential Functions:Develop and test solutions to support data-driven decisions.Collaborate with team members and customers to analyze product requirements.Identify opportunities to automate business processes and optimize applications.Troubleshoot errors and provide support to team members.Other duties as assigned or required.Qualifications and Experience:Required: At least 2 years of development experience using business intelligence tools.Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with team members and customers.Experience with troubleshooting and resolving errors.Strong understanding of data visualization best practices.See Education requirements below.Security Clearance:Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.Education:At least 2 years of applicable experience and an AA/AS degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
