We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer (AI) to join our LA-based team in our Playa Vista office or work remotely. This hands-on role involves developing and maintaining advanced AI solutions that power our product suite, including both B2B and B2C applications, as well as broadening our product ecosystem. This role is focused on integrating the latest AI models, rather than building models from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Develop object classification systems to enhance understanding and categorization of physical products.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI features seamlessly into our mobile platform, ensuring a user-friendly experience with NFC technology.

• Lead innovation by exploring and adopting advanced AI technologies similar to those used by OpenAI and Stable Diffusion.

• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for AI solutions.

• Monitor performance and troubleshoot AI-related issues.

• Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers.

• Designing and implementing AI models to generate real-time 3D models and interactive digital content from product metadata.

• Developing and integrating image generation and voice models to enhance user experiences.

• Leading innovation by exploring and adopting advanced AI technologies, including the latest LLMs and models(OpenAI, Stability, etc).

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in software development, with 2+ years specializing in diffusion models and generative AI.

• Proven expertise in AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and technologies used by OpenAI or Stable Diffusion.

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with mobile and NFC technologies.

• Knowledge of design patterns, software engineering principles, and best practices.

• Ability to drive projects from conception to implementation, demonstrating creative problem-solving and effective communication.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
