Specialty Topic Editor– Asthma


DynaMed™
is a leading online evidence-based point-of-care medical reference. It is a rapidly growing, comprehensive clinical decision resource that provides the most current and useful synthesized evidence with the quickest time-to-answer.


We are seeking a Pulmonologist with expertise in Asthma for the role of Topic Editor. The Specialty Topic Editor will work closely with the DynaMed team to develop and maintain one or more content areas for DynaMed. Familiarity with and interest in evidence-based medicine is preferred.


This is a part-time contract position. Editorial work can be performed completely remote and requires less than a 10% time commitment.


Required Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent
  • Specialty board certification in Pulmonary Medicine
  • At least 3 years of direct patient care experience managing patients with asthma
  • Ongoing participation in clinical activity
  • Experience with MS Office Suite including Word (with use of track changes) and Excel


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with managing pulmonary conditions
  • Breadth and depth of knowledge in the field as demonstrated by clinical leadership roles, teaching, research, or a publication track record
  • Critical appraisal and statistical skills sufficient to analyze clinical relevance of all study types
