Spectrum is seeking highly qualified Unit Security Assistant to support our customer at Creech AFB, NV. In this role you will advise and assist the customer with operational test planning, execution, data analysis and reporting.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The Unit Security Assistant (USA) will provide security services including security
  • Ensure classified information is handled and stored correctly. Ensure recurring requirements such as daily check documentation are accomplished, maintain documentation to include alarm access letters, entry authorization lists, and accountability for entry badges.
  • Assist the Special Security Representative (SSR)/ SCI Manager in execution of their duties as allowed per AFI.
  • Report security incidents immediately to 53 TEG Security Manager and 99 ABW/IP or 432 WG/IP and assists the unit commander in monitoring the security incident.

Squadron on Creech Air Force Base, Nellis Air Force Base, and Nellis Range.

  • Update and remind personnel of security policies and procedures as well as assist in developing and updating security operation instructions as required.
  • Manage visit requests to/from the 556 TES.
  • Manage facility requests and upgrades for 556 TES occupied real property on Creech AFB.
  • Track all security training requirements for all personnel based on their approved level of access and ensure they maintain these training certificates through tracking training.

Experience:

  • 5 years working in/with the military and 3 years of DOD security program experience including knowledge of SCIF and SAP access/requirement

Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma

Security Clearance:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance to begin work
  • Capable of obtaining Top Secret with SCI eligibility
